How we will get you there/ How to get to Mabamba
We offer two convenient routes to reach Mabamba Swamp:
Route 1: Ferry Crossing
1. From the Port Alice/Nakiwogo landing site, take a 30-minute ferry ride to the Buwaya landing site.
2. Disembark and take a 15-minute drive to the Mabamba swamp shore.
3. Board a local motorized canoe, piloted by experienced fishermen and guided by a local expert.
4. Explore the Mabamba swamp.
Alternative Route: Drive from Entebbe
1. Drive approximately 1 hour from Entebbe to the Mabamba swamp shore.
2. Board a motorized canoe and venture into the swamp.
